I grew up in Alaska with a skilled mechanic biker dad, who really had the touch for motorized vehicles and an artistic mom who is full of creativity and loves music. I was influenced by both of them so gained a knack for mechanics and design, with an interest in sound.

I’ve modified, built, improved, and changed everything around me for as long as I can remember. Never letting go of the question “maybe this could be better?”, then trying to find out. That includes electronics, guitars, vehicles, furniture, and so on. My hobbies center around playing/repairing/building guitars, motorcycles, custom cars & sports cars, car audio, studio recording, and HiFi.

Magic Drill Press is the place where the finalized products from ideas prototyped and problems solved are made available to people who might also find those solutions usefull. The fun part for me is seeing the final products put to use. Hope you like what you see. – Dietrich
