I designed these Quick Throttle Brackets to replace the OEM bracket (Lotus part # A117J0089F) for Lotus Elise and Exige (model year 2005) that use a cable throttle and Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine/throttle body. The optional mounting positions change pedal feel in a good way! The Quick Throttle Bracket is stronger than OEM, which has been known to break under hard use, and allows 3 positions of cable mounting:

1. Stock – OEM action

2. Middle – About 6mm less pedal throw to wide open throttle (WOT)

3. Fast – About 12mm shorter pedal throw to WOT

While the above changes don’t seem like much on paper, they make a dramatic change to pedal feel for easier heel/tow shifting and a throttle that is more responsive to your movements. The bracket can also increase cable pull for alternate throttle bodies that cause extra long pedal throw such as with Honda K motor swaps.
